Our vision 75% of the Gambian population live off of agriculture. Especially for those people climate change means a threat for their subsistence, which makes a lot of them migrate to urban areas. To work against that we want to create opportunities where it’s needed.

Our goal The main goal of our project is to provide a reliable water supply in the fields of Saba. That would lead to a more efficient farming process. This could then secure the means of living for local women and men and also relieve them from a lot of physical work.

Our path Our work at EWB includes planning, fundraising/financing and finally building a well and the infrastructure for distributing and storing the water. The cooperation with our Gambian parter organization Phanmaggi enables us to work closely with the local people throughout the whole project.
